Rashtriya e-Pustakalaya, launched on 10 February 2024 by Dharmendra Pradhan under the Department of School Education & Literacy, Ministry of Education, is a national digital library designed for children and youth. It offers 6500+ non-academic titles from 250+ publishers in 23+ Indian languages and English, covering genres such as fiction, non-fiction, comics, rhymes, picture books, art & culture, and travel & exploration. The collection is organized into four age categories (3–8 years, 8–11 years, 11–14+ years, and Young Adults) and is accessible via Web, Android, and iOS platforms. The initiative aims to promote joyful reading, cultivate lifelong learning habits, and foster pride in India’s rich heritage, culture, and achievements while ensuring accessible and inclusive digital reading across the country.
