The Department of Food Science & Nutrition regularly conducts seminars and workshops for students, faculty members and other stakeholders on diverse topics addressing varied themes. Industrial visits, Field visits, hands on and practical training are regular features of being at this Department. Internship is an integral part of all the academic programmes.
The Department also manages RUSA CFPD- Rashtriya Uchatar Shiksha Abhiyan supported Centre for Food Product Development. The Centre is one stop solution for those interested in developing new food products or need assistance for their existing food practices.
