The Department of Psychology, SNDT WU, Mumbai in collaboration with the Department of Education, University of British Columbia, Canada was granted the Shastri Institutional Collaboration Research Grant (SICRG) for "Knowledge Mobilization: Expanding Cross-Cultural Conversations about Mental health and illness". A consultancy project Nautics, in the area of psychometric tool development with Stairwell Ventures, a startup in the recruitment and talent management space.
The Department is also partnering with the Mumbai High Court in a Pre-Litigation Counselling project called "Let’s Talk". This project is funded by the Maharashtra State Legal Services.
The Department has completed a project (2018-2020) with International Rotary for a project on Addiction prevention. This Global Grant Project (GG1748107) will help train Counsellors in the area of addiction prevention, covering both Substance and Non-Substance addictions.
