Students of Psychology at SNDT Women’s University celebrate Mental Health Week,
culminating in a poster exhibition and a two street plays
Every year, mental Health week culminates in a mental health day celebrated on the 10th of October. The undergraduate and postgraduate Psychology students of SNDT WU, along with the Counseling Center of SNDT, celebrated the week with the theme, Dignity to People with Mental Illness.

The postgraduate students put up a street play focusing on inclusion of people with psychological problems and performed in the lobbies and foyers of Mumbai Municipal Corporation Hospitals where large groups gathered to watch the play and help build awareness and sensitivity.

The Undergraduate students focused on Panic as one of the problems faced by many and performed a street play on SNDT Churchgate premises. All students, UG as well as PG, put up a large poster exhibit in the foyer outside the committee Room on SNDT WU Churchgate campus, where the theme came to life through slogans and pictorial representations.

Teaching and Non teaching staff of the University, and students from all departments came to witness the street play and enjoy the poster content.
