Two-Week Online Workshop on "Nari Se Narayani: Rediscovering Indian Women Sages’ Intellectual Heritage"

The SNDT Women’s University, Bharatiya Gyan, Sanskrit evam Yog Kendra (BHAGYASY), takes pleasure in announcing the successful completion of a Two-Week Online Workshop on “Nari Se Narayani: Rediscovering Indian Women Sages’ Intellectual Heritage”. The workshop was a 10-hour online course conducted on Google Meet as a part of the Jagrani Project “Narayani – Phase II.” The inauguration took place on the 18th of April 2024, in the gracious presence of revered Shri Dinesh Kumar ji, who shared his insightful remarks on the Narayani Phase II project. The esteemed presence of our Honourable Vice Chancellor, Prof. Ujwala Chakradeo, alongside around 150 participants, including Narayani’s, marked the occasion.
During the first week of this online workshop, SNDT students as Narayani’s delved into narratives on Rishika’s, exploring themes such as "Rishika: Wisdom of the Matriarchs," "Rishika: The Legacy of Light," and "Rishika: The Stories of Enlightenment and Empowerment." In the second half of the week, various resource persons shared their perspectives on diverse aspects and learnings from women sages, i.e. understanding ‘self’, Indian knowledge system, feminine leadership, science of yoga, Vedic philosophies etc. The workshop ended on 2nd May 2024.
