1. Inauguration of Marathi Vangmay Mandal by Mrs Uma Parab, Assi. Registrar, affiliation section, SNDTWU.
2. Students of Dept of Marathi started wall paper for creative writing display.
3. Guest lecture was organised on "Indian Scripts and Coins" by Dr. Dilip Balsekar,Director, Gazetteer, Govt. of
Maharashtra on Sept. 30, 2016
4. Students of Dept of Marathi performed a street play on the theme "Save Water" written and directed by MA 1
student Ms Reshma Pawar.
5. The Department organised visit to Adivasi ashram shala at Panvel. There our students observed the activities of
the school and interacted with the school children and staff there.
6. The Department organised visit to Akhil Bharateey Marathi Sahitya Sammelan at Dombivali where our students
had opportunity to meet Prof. Akshaykumar Kale, the Hon. President of Sammelan and other Marathi writers.
They also visited the grand book fair.
