Eligibility Future Career Prospects

Minimum 50% percent or B grade for students with BSc Resource Management, B. Design, BSc Family Resource Management, BSc Home Economics, BSc General Home Science, BSc Composite Home Science, BSc Family and Community Sciences. Minimum 50% or B grade for students with BSc Physiology, BSc Life Sciences, BSc Biology. 

NOTE: Those who have done BSc Home Economics, BSc General Home Science, B.Sc. Composite Home Science, B.Sc. Family and Community Sciences should have passed Elementary and Intermediate Drawing examinations.

Course Objectives Course Content
  1. The primary goal of this program is to impart complete knowledge on traditional designing aspects and rapidly changing global trends in interior designing so that they are ready to take the future challenges.
  2. To develop the skills in application of ergonomic considerations in designing interior and exterior spaces.
  3. To generate Innovative ideas for designing for special population (senior citizens, physically challenged and children)
  4. Environment & Energy management studies will provide skills needed to protect & promote sustainability, improve environment and know-how of use & misuse of resources.
  5. To develop competency skills in management & expand leadership qualities among students.
  6. Demonstrate the understanding of business opportunities for start-ups for future ventures.
  7. Demonstrate an ability to engage in critical thinking by analyzing situations and constructing and selecting viable solutions to provide functional user-friendly and sustainable interiors designing solutions.
