| • Graduate in any discipline from any faculty of any recognised universityas equivalent thereto. • The candidate should pass the Entrance test. |
Admission Forms will be available at the office of Department of Social Work, Churchgate Campus. An entrance exam comprising of a written test, group discussion and personal interview is held. A merit list prepared on the basis of candidates performance. Those who have appeared for final examinations of graduation and are awaiting results shall be given provisional admission. |

The programme is divided in four semesters (64 credits) spread over two years. In all students are required to complete a combination of core compulsory courses and a few optional courses. The compulsory courses shall provide the students with a sound foundation and understanding of the profession. The compulsory courses are:- 1. History and Ideology of Social Work 2. Social Work in the Field of Health 14. Law and Social Work 15. Counselling 16. Field Work Practicum (one in each semester) 17.
